Our programs
Every program is hands-on from the first week. Classes run Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and are designed to get students under as many horses as possible.
2-week course
Foundational hoof trimming and shoeing skills for horse owners, trainers, and equestrians who want to care for their own horses with confidence.
10-week course
A career-launching, ten-week immersion in trimming, forging, and shoeing — the program that turns a beginner into a working farrier.
10-week course
Therapeutic, corrective, and performance shoeing for graduates ready to take on complex cases and pursue AFA Certified Farrier status.

As we dig into farrier science, students find that the straightforward, basic principles we break trimming and shoeing down into make the material easy to learn at school and easy to remember after graduation. The programs are designed to get students under as many horses as possible.
Horses students work on include ponies, donkeys, drafts, miniatures, thoroughbreds, Arabians, Morgans, quarter horses, paints, warmbloods, and PMUs — used across reining, cutting, roping, jumping, dressage, vaulting, pleasure, and trail disciplines.
Applications are open for every 2026 and 2027 session. Complete the online application in about 15 minutes.
